Who we are 

Oxide is a modern startup that develops proprietary core technology to enable AI Search. Oxide’s customer-facing solutions are software for large-scale decision automation and automated qualitative research. Our long-term mission is the next-generation public search engine. 
The core team, with a long track record of developing successful AI-driven software for large enterprises, is looking for a technical talent to join us. 

About the role 

This is a part-time/contract position in Malmö, Sweden. We are hiring a Frontend Developer (Web & Mobile) to strengthen the core team of ca 10 people. You will work closely with our software product team on such digital products as web sites and mobile applications. This is a unique opportunity to work with in-house developed AI & ML technology and create a playful and contemporary form for it, in the unconventional intersection of game design and Oxide’s own graphical style, on all existing modern platforms. 

Websites

• Coding webpages and entire websites for multiple browsers and devices 
• Fixing functionality issues incl dead links 
• Basic SEO optimization 

• Updating and maintaining sites 
• Backups 

Mobile applications

• iOS andAndroid mobile environments 

• Developing apps integrated with a backend through a REST:ful API 
• Publishing on Google Play Store/Apple App Store 

Qualifications: 

• 3+ of relevant experience 

• Solid competence in HTML/CSS  and JavaScript/TypeScript 
• Experience of Google and Apple SDK:s for mobile apps development 
• Java, Swift & Objective C or cross-development languages such as Kotlin 
• Experience with working with REST:ful JSON API:s and databases 
• Fast at prototyping 

• Familiar with Adobe Suite 

Good to have: 

• Previously worked in startups (or similar environment)  
• Knowledge of basic design patterns and feeling for how to incorporate our company’s colour scheme and graphics 
• Ability to conceptualize flows, create mock-ups and prototypes for digital products (website and apps) 
• Interest in bringing our products into VR (Oculus/Meta Quest2 headset)
