Roaring Group and Oxide AI Enter Multi-Year Strategic Partnership to Lead Hybrid AI-Powered Risk Intelligence in the Nordics.
Roaring Group AB and Oxide AI have entered a multi-year strategic partnership combining Roaring’s Nordic compliance data with Oxide AI’s Hybrid AI technology for risk intelligence. As part of the partnership, Roaring has acquired the Redox AI system, which will form the foundation of its AI-powered risk intelligence offerings.
The Nordic risk intelligence market is growing at over 20% annually. Banks expect transaction monitoring alerts to increase, with infrastructure and AI enhancement as priority spending areas. Yet, no clear winner has emerged.
Both companies saw the same opportunity, and the partnership is the result of months of joint technical validation and commercial alignment. The multi-year structure announced today gives both parties the runway to execute against it.
From Compliance Data to Risk Intelligence
Roaring already delivers the compliance data that risk intelligence requires, serving regulated enterprises across the Nordic region. This partnership combines this data advantage with a Hybrid AI system built specifically for risk decisions. Customers can now move from consuming data to automated risk screening, entity analysis, and financial crime detection.
Financial crime compliance remains one of the most resource-intensive functions in banking. Widely cited industry data shows that over 90% of alerts generated by traditional transaction monitoring systems are false positives, consuming enormous compliance resources while genuine risks sometimes go undetected. With Redox, a compliance team that currently reviews thousands of alerts manually receives pre-screened, fully explained risk assessments, each traceable to its reasoning and source data. The same customers already using Roaring’s data can now address this through Hybrid AI-powered analysis that meets the industry demands for accuracy, auditability, and zero tolerance for hallucinations.
AI Architecture Designed for High-Impact Decisions
The AI system, Redox, employs a Hybrid AI architecture that strictly separates analytical reasoning from linguistic capability, using multiple independent AI engines for decisions that require auditability, consistency, and accuracy. Large language models are reserved for interface and explanations. The system also adapts to customer-specific data sources, deployment models, and regulatory requirements, allowing Roaring to serve customers across the full spectrum of regulated industries.
“Most AI systems today rely on a single type of model to produce an answer. Redox works more like a court of law, where multiple independent and diverse AI engines examine the evidence separately, and a decision layer weighs their findings before reaching a conclusion,” said Lars Hård, Chief AI Officer and co-founder of Oxide AI.
Unlike multi-agent or mixture-of-experts approaches built on the same model architecture, Redox combines fundamentally different AI technologies. Diverse perspectives significantly improve decision quality, while their independence eliminates the risk associated with a single point of failure.
“Our multi-perspective Hybrid AI architecture is what removes the hallucinations and opacity that have kept regulators skeptical of AI systems in compliance,” Hård added. “It delivers the rigor, robustness, and transparency that regulated industries actually need for AI automation to be scalable.”
Looking Ahead
Oxide AI’s team brings two decades of experience building AI systems for production accuracy and scale, including platforms reaching over 100 million users globally. Under the partnership, Oxide AI will continue to support Roaring through 2026 and beyond, ensuring continuity as the risk intelligence business scales. Backed by institutional investors including SEB Venture Capital and Nordstjernan, Roaring is positioned to move quickly.
Roaring expects to bring its first AI-powered risk intelligence offerings to market in H2 2026. The partnership allows Oxide AI to focus on advancing its core Hybrid AI platform for decision intelligence.
