Who we are 

Oxide is a modern startup that develops proprietary core technology to enable AI Search. Oxide’s customer-facing solutions are software for large-scale decision automation and automated qualitative research. Our long-term mission is the next-generation public search engine. 
The core team, with a long track record of developing successful AI-driven software for large enterprises, is looking for an engineering talent to join us. 

About the role 

This is a full-time permanent position in Malmö, Sweden. We are hiring a Senior Software Developer to strengthen the core team of ca 10 people. 
As an experienced backend programmer, you are a hands-on developer with senior responsibility who enjoys building stable software. You master optimization and automation challenges for high performance, scalability and availability.  
As a senior lead, you are enthusiastic about being involved in all stages of technical innovation process: from the creative idea research and development in a form of prototype/demo/proof of concept all the way to hard-core production deployment, with robust automation and monitoring.  
You are a self-starter who enjoys working in a typical startup environment. You bring in great structure and enthusiasm and deploy things fast in a pragmatic fashion. 

The most relevant qualifications for the existing systems at the present stage: 

• 6+ experience 
• Proficient in a systems-oriented language such as GO, C++  
• Containerization and container management, Docker and Kubernetes 
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS is preferred) 
• Python 
• Very comfortable Linux user 

• PostgreSQL, Redis 
• Design and implementation of RESTful API:s 
• System monitoring, Grafana

We are not limited to this list of qualifications, and you have freedom to choose your stack; we are flexible about switching to other systems and techniques.  

Good to have: 

• Previously worked in startups (or similar environment)  
• Experience and strong interest in DevOps, modern CI/CD setups 

• Curious about AI and ML, with some experience in TensorFlow, ONNX, PyTorch, Keras 
• References to your GitHub and contributions to open community projects to showcase your passion for programming 
• References to your technical papers, articles, or blogs
